Flower power Bunches of flowers are arranged at the Desa Raya flower market in Berastagi, Karo, North Sumatra. Fresh flower trading has become the bread and butter of one generation, passed on to another, for the people of Karo. The Karo regency administration also holds a cultural Flower Festival every year.
