AKARTA: Presenter Indra Bekti said he does not want his children to enter the entertainment business but he would not forbid them if they decided to follow in their father’s step.
“I like seeing them practice their artistic and entertainment skills like ballet dancing and singing,” Indra said as quoted by kompas.com.
“If possible, I want them not to work in the entertainment industry. If they have the happen to do so, however, I will be supportive,” Indra said.
Indra said he wanted his children — Anabell Eleanor and Dafania Sahira — to put religion first.
“We want them to grow up as devout Muslims. We want them to wear jilbab (Islamic headscarf) and live by sharia principles,” he said. — JP
