ANADO: One of the largest International hotel operators AccorHotels launched ibis Manado City Center Boulevard Hotel on Tuesday as part of its business expansion strategy in Indonesia.
“This hotel launch is in line with AccorHotels’ expansion strategy in the country,” Garth Simmons, AccorHotels’ CEO for Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore told the press in Manado.
AccorHotels Indonesia is aiming to have more than 200 hotels in operation before 2020, he added. The hotel, located in the center of Manado, North Sulawesi, will cater to both business travelers and tourists. With the hotel launch, it also hoping to be able to take part in increasing the quality of Indonesia’s travel industry, especially in North Sulawesi.
Ibis is one of AccorHotels’ economy line hotel brands, which has more than 1,900 hotels around the world including around 300 ibis Styles, 1,000 ibis and 550 ibis Budget at present. — JP
