AKARTA: Anugerah Musik Indonesia (Indonesian Music Awards) committee chairman Dwiki Dharmawan is encouraging musicians to submit their work to the 19th AMI 2016.
“As one of the most consistent awards in the Indonesian music industry, the AMI are open to various genres of music. Don’t miss it because registration is open,” he said as quoted by kompas.com.
Submitted work must have been produced and distributed between July 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016.
Last year, 600 singles and 200 albums were submitted. Seno M. Hardjo, member of the AMI board of directors, said there were dozens of categories, including pop, rock, dance, dangdut, children’s songs, traditional songs and keroncong. — JP
