AKARTA: Actress Acha Septriasa found it difficult to act in comedy film Koala Kumal (Shabby Koala), a genre she is not familiar with.
“Everyone on set was naturally funny. I was the only one that wasn’t,” she said, referring to the comedian-packed cast.
Ache said she learned a lot from comedian Raditya Dika, the writer, director and the lead actor of the film.
“I made too many line mistakes because I couldn’t memorize the dialogue. But under Dika’s direction, I learned about timing and what that means in a comedy film,” she said as reported by tribunnews.com on Wednesday.
Acting opposite Dika was also a new experience for Acha.
“He’s very spontaneous, funny and talented. Every day on set was fun. It’s different to working on a drama film set. It’s less stressful and everyone takes things easy”. — JP
