echnology, Research and Higher Education Minister Muhammad Nasir has said vocational university graduates would receive certificates from the National Profession Standardization Agency (BNSP) starting from 2017.
“Twelve polytechnics have been working together with the BNSP. Graduates from the polytechnics will get diplomas and professional certificates,” Nasir said as quoted by Antara after the inauguration of the director of Tanah Laut state polytechnic in Jakarta on Thursday.
He explained that in the future, all vocational schools would have to provide certificates to show that graduates have expertise in their fields.
In order to prepare for this, Nasir said the government had established cooperation with various countries to send teachers abroad to pursue a higher education.
