The Supreme Court inaugurated Sugeng and Rosmaya Hadi as deputy governors of Bank Indonesia (BI) on Friday.
Sugeng, who was previously head of the BI Institute, will replace Ronald Waas as deputy governor for payment system and macroprudential.
Meanwhile, Rosmaya, who previously helmed BI's West Java representative office, takes over for Hendar as deputy governor for logistics, assets security, sharia economy and regional area.
Both will have tenures of five years.

"We hope [the inauguration] immediately takes effect so, they can start working on Monday," BI Governor Agus Martowardojo said on the sidelines of the inauguration at the court in Central Jakarta.
Court chief justice Hatta Ali swore in the officials at the event, attended by Financial Services Authority (OJK) chairman Muliaman D. Hadad, members of the House of Representatives, several state-owned bankers and members of BI’s board of governors.
The BI board of governors now consists of Agus and senior deputy governor Mirza Adityaswara, as well as deputies Perry Warjiyo, Erwin Rijanto, Sugeng and Rosmaya. (bbn)
