ailway operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia Commuter Jabodetabek (KCJ) said a broken section of track between Cakung and Klender Baru stations in East Jakarta disrupted trains for several hours early on Monday morning.
KCJ spokesperson Eva Chairunisa said the company was investigating the cause of the broken train line.
“Overall, railway conditions remain normal even though we saw some trains queuing,” Eva said as quoted by tempo.co.
The incident was first reported through the company’s Twitter account at 3:40 a.m. The company later announced that the problem had been partially solved as trains could pass over the broken section at speeds below 5 kilometers per hour. The problem was completely solved by 6 a.m.
