Jakarta to give two boats for transporting corpses in Thousand Islands

The Jakarta administration plans to provide two boats to transport corpses in Thousand Island regency this year.
One of the boats will be stationed in the northern part of the regency, while the other one will be stationed in the south.
“The realization of the boats has been a dream of the regency’s residents so this year we will provide them with two boats,” acting Jakarta governor Sumarsono said as quoted by beritajakarta.com.
The boats will transport corpses from various inhabited islands in the regency to a public cemetery on Karya Island.
Thousand Islands currently uses passenger boats to transport corpses. (vny)
