Garuda Indonesia CEO to be dismissed

State-owned airline Garuda Indonesia president director Arif Wibowo will reportedly be replaced at a shareholders meeting at the Auditorium Garuda City Center, the airline’s office, at Soekarno-Hatta Airport office complex in Tangerang, Banten, on Wednesday evening.

tate-owned airline Garuda Indonesia CEO Arif Wibowo will reportedly be replaced at an annual shareholders meeting at the Auditorium Garuda City Center, the airline’s office, at Soekarno-Hatta Airport office complex in Tangerang, Banten, on Wednesday evening.

Kompas.com reported that Arif will be replaced by Pahala N Mansury, the finance director of state-lender PT Bank Mandiri.

There is no confirmation yet on the report from State-owned Enterprises Ministry. Pahala declined to confirm his appointment.

Arif was appointed as Garuda Indonesia CEO on Dec. 12, 2014, replacing Emirsyah Satar, who resigned in Dec. 2014. Arif has not completed his five-year term. (bbn)
