Anies, Sandiaga preparing transition team to facilitate transfer of power

resumptive Jakarta governor and deputy governor-elect Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno are preparing a transition team to facilitate the eventual transfer of power from Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama and Jakarta Deputy Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat in October.
Sandiaga said the composition of the team would be announced after the Jakarta General Elections Commission (KPU Jakarta) officially declared the election results on May 5.
"The team, which is now being finalized, will be announced on May 4 or May 5, after the KPU announcement," Sandiaga said as quoted by Tribunnews.com.
He said earlier that experts from the campaign team might become members of this new team.
Sandiaga said the transition team would communicate with Ahok and Djarot regarding Anies and his programs.
The team will also be involved in the process of deliberating on the 2018 city budget so that it will be in accordance with Anies and his programs, Sandiaga said. (cal/dmr)
