building set up for workers at the corner of Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport caught fire on Friday morning.
The building is near to a gas filling station.
"The fire started at 9:30 a.m. and by 9.55 a.m. we had extinguished it," said Tommy Hadi Bawono, the airport's aviation security, rescue and fire fighting senior manager, as quoted by kompas.com on Friday.
The fire generated thick smoke that could be seen from the passenger terminal.
No casualties have been reported, Tommy added.
"We're still looking into the cause of the incident," he said, adding that officials were also calculating material losses. (agn)
