Bus operator PT Transportasi Jakarta president director Budi Kaliwono said the new schedule was being implemented to give employees a chance to gather with their families, perform the Eid prayer and meet their relatives and friends.
Transjakarta will also add more buses during the Idul Fitri holiday, especially along the Blok M-Kota, Melayu-Ancol and Ragunan-Dukuh Atas corridors. The additional buses will serve people who want to visit tourism spots in Jakarta.
Transjakarta also provides 21 tour buses giving free tours around the capital city and its various museums. The free tours start at 1 p.m.
