Toddler dies after falling from school's third floor

2-year-old, identified as Afkar, died on Sunday night after falling from the third floor of SD 4 state elementary school in Ciputat, South Tangerang.
Afkar, who went to the school with his grandmother to visit his sibling on Saturday, went to the school’s third floor unnoticed before failing to the ground.
“The victim passed away at Sari Asih Hospital in Ciputat. We were notified last night,” Sidup Usman of the school said on Monday as quoted by kompas.com.
The third floor of the school was under construction and was not fenced off, Sidup said.
Afkar was rushed to a community health center (Puskesmas) after the incident and referred to Sari Asih Hospital to receive intensive treatment.
He died at the hospital. (fac)
