NP Paribas Investment Partners (PT BNPP IP) is still mulling over the possibility of issuing DINFRA mutual funds, a mutual fund dedicated to infrastructure in the form of collective investment contracts, its company’s top executives said on Monday.
"We are still reviewing the issuance of DINFRA because the regulation is still fairly new. We have to put priority on our investors' protection,” said BNPP IP president director Vivian Secakusuma.
The company claimed it had received questions from several institutional investors about the mutual fund and its investment scheme.
However, it still wants to look closely into its legal and operational aspects before deciding to issue the product to the market.
