State-owned oil and gas company Pertamina replaced its processing and megaproject director, Rachmad Hardadi, on Tuesday.
State-Owned Enterprises Ministry announced that Rachmad was honorably discharged and replaced by Ardhy N. Mokobombang, who previously held the position of senior vice president of refining operations at Pertamina.
The processing and megaproject director is in charge of six large-scale refinery development and upgrading projects, which Pertamina hopes will decrease Indonesia’s need to import refined fuels.
In addition to removing Rachmad, Pertamina also added a new position of investment planning and risk management director on the board. The position was given to Gigih Prakoso.
The changes were made after the government appointed Elia Massa Manik as the company's president director in March after an infighting forced then president director Dwi Soetjipto to leave his job.
