There was an unusual sight at Ayodya Park in Jakarta last Saturday.
Actor Tora Sudiro was frying and distributing free tahu bulat (round tofu) to visitors. Tora was accompanied by Vino G. Bastian, Abimana Aryasatya and Indro Warkop.
It turned out that they were promoting their movie Warkop DKI Reborn Part 2.
“When we fried the tofu, our body became quite hot. Hats off to the seller,” Tora said as quoted by kapanlagi.com.
The event received positive public response, attracting visitors who waited in line to watch the actors in action as they prepared the popular snack.
The movie’s marketing team previously placed an enormous sticker on the Veteran building, covered Damri buses with posters and held Independence Day competitions.
