6 men named suspects over karaoke bar murder

ix men have been named murder suspects in the alleged murder of 48-year-old Ana Rusmana in the early hours of Wednesday morning, at a karaoke bar in Benda, Tangerang, Police have said.
The suspects and the victim, who the police said did not know each other, were scrambling over a woman prior to the murder.
"We arrested the suspects in Kamal, North Jakarta," Tangerang Police chief Sr. Comr. Harry Kurniawan told a media briefing on Wednesday as quoted by kompas.com.
The suspects, identified by their initials as A, 24, MA, 21, MJ, 20, AN, 32, T, 25, and SAA, 36, all of whom were fishermen, were arrested right before they departed for work.
One of the suspects was shot in the leg because he attempted to fight the police during his arrest, Harry said.
Apart from killing Ana, the suspects also injured Royanih, 38, and Kamsari, 36, who are receiving intensive treatment at a hospital in the city. (fac)
