wo people died over the weekend and 11 others were injured when lightning struck a school building in Lhokseumawe, Aceh.
A spokesperson for the Lhokseumawe Police, Comr. Ahzan, said, according to Antara, that most of the victims were students at Al Alaq Dewantara junior high school.
The lightning struck a tree near the school’s cafeteria where the students were having lunch.
“Two people were killed, one is in critical condition and 10 are receiving treatment,” Ahzan said.
The victims were identified as Muhammad, 50, a becak (pedicab) driver and M. Zaki, 13, a student at the school.
