27-year-old window cleaner has fallen to his death on Tuesday from the 26th floor of the Neo SOHO Podomoro City apartment in Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, when the aluminum ladder he was using broke.
As reported by tribunnews.com, the victim, Haris Medis, died instantly upon plummeting to the terrace lobby of the Neo SOHO mall, which is located beneath the apartment building.
Tanjung Duren Police inspected the scene and have taken the victim's body to the National Police Hospital in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, for further examination.
“The case is under investigation by the West Jakarta Police,” the head of the Tanjung Duren Police's crimes division, Adj. Comr. Rensa, was quoted as saying on Tuesday. (cal)
