Woman crashes into three vehicles in C. Jakarta

59-year-old woman driving along Jl. Mangga Dua, Sawah Besar, in Central Jakarta, crashed into three vehicles on Wednesday morning, then proceeded to take off her clothes after getting out of her car.
According to Central Jakarta Police deputy head Asep Guntur, the woman, identified as TM, drove her Toyota Agya into a motorcycle passing in front of her.
“After hitting the motorcycle, she kept driving and her car crashed into a taxi that was exiting Le Grandeur hotel,” Asep said on Wednesday as quoted by kompas.com.
The woman drove off once again, only to hit a bajaj (three-wheeled taxi).
When residents began surrounding the Toyota, TM got out and took her top off, then put it back on.
A Central Jakarta Traffic Police official, Second Insp. Atif, said that according to TM’s family, the 59-year-old suffered from a mental illness.
“We couldn’t question her because she looked distressed. She was taken home by her family because she kept trying to take her clothes off in the [police] station,” he said. (wit)
