rked by a traffic fine, an employee at the tap water unit at the public works agency in Sukadana, Kayong Utara, West Kalimantan, reportedly damaged the water distribution system, resulting in a disruption of water, including at the police dormitory.

Unit head Galih Tosan said residents had complained about the one-week water supply disruption.

“Following up on the complaints, we conducted an onsite inspection to determine the reason for the problem,” he said as quoted by kompas.com.

He said the culprit had been found, but he declined to reveal his name. It was reported that the person was a contract employee at the tap water unit.

“During questioning by the police, the person confessed to his wrongdoing. He did it because he was annoyed at having his motorbike ticketed by the police,” Galih said.

The house of the Kayong Utara Police chief was also affected.

“He was annoyed at being ticketed. He vented his anger by stopping the water supply to the dormitory and the police chief,” Galih said.
