Prominent folk music group Hungarian FolkEmbassy mesmerized audiences with their wonderful folk music and dances at the Visegrad Four event in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia are members of the Visegrad Four group, also known as V4, in the Central European region, while the Hungarian FolkEmbassy group is from Hungary.

All four countries showcased their food, drinks, jewellery and decorative items during the V4 gathering.

All four embassies displayed their products at the Women’s International Club (WIC) bazaar from Nov. 15 to Nov. 16 in Jakarta.

“All the proceeds from the products of V4 countries at the WIC bazaar will be donated to charity organizations,” Hungarian Ambassador Judit Pach told The Jakarta Post at the gathering.

The Hungarian Ambassador, the host of the gathering, the Polish Embassy’s charg d’affaires Igor Kaczmarczyk, Slovakian Ambassador Michal Slivovic and Czech Ambassador Ivan Hotek and their spouses as well as journalists were present at the gathering.

The FolkEmbassy group, which came to Indonesia as part of their Asia Tour, performed on Monday at a gala concert at the Erasmus Huis building in Jakarta on Monday. The theme of the performance was “Believe in Authentic.”
