Three years ago, Starbucks opened the world’s first Reserve Roastery in Seattle, which offered coffee aficionados a one-stop theater experience in coffee artistry. On Dec. 6, this first fully immersive coffee experience celebrated its debut in Asia, with the Shanghai Roastery. This unprecedented feast for the senses spans across 30,000 square feet of coffee roasting and brewing, Italian baking and exquisite local craftsmanship. Featuring everything from Starbucks’ longest coffee bar, to the world’s only 3D-printed tea bar, and Starbucks’ first Augmented Reality experience, the roastery takes coffee lovers through a one-of-a-kind coffee journey that is sure to impress.
