Health Ministry employee arrested on drug charges

The Jakarta Police have arrested a civil servant from the Health Ministry on drug possession charges.
The suspect was arrested in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Sunday for the alleged possession of 0.9 grams of methamphetamine.
Jakarta Police narcotics unit director Sr. Comr. Suwondo Nainggolan said on Wednesday that, after the arrest, the police located the dealer the suspect allegedly purchased the drugs from.
“After an investigation, we detained on Tuesday the dealer, who carried with him 15 grams of meth,” Suwondo said as quoted by wartakota.tribunnews.com.
Both suspects are currently being held at the Jakarta Police headquarters in South Jakarta for further questioning. (jlm)
