resenter Indy Barends says she is a very possessive mother and can be very overprotective.

The 46-year-old added that she had become even more overprotective when her daughter had become a teenager and started to go out with boys.

“I am not yet ready to see my girl having a boyfriend,” Indy said as quoted by kompas.com.

Indy, however, does not forbid her daughter from going out with boys, as long as they ask for her permission before they go out on a date.

“As a mother, I need to know who the boy is before my daughter goes on a date with him,” she said.

“I am kind of worried with what teenagers do these days. Like all parents, I always see my child as a baby no matter how much she has grown,” she added.
