truck reportedly hit six kiosks on Jl. Raya Puspitek, Cisauk, South Tangerang in the wee hours of Saturday. No casualties were reported.
The driver of the truck, identified as Roni, 32, was reportedly passing through Jl. Raya Puspitek heading to Serpong at around 4 a.m. when he lost control of the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to flip onto its side before hitting the kiosks by the roadside.
“The driver was allegedly drowsy” South Tangerang Traffic Police chief Adj. Comr. Lalu Hedwin said as quoted by tribunnews.com on Saturday.
Total damages from the single-vehicle accident have yet to be disclosed.
A tow truck was deployed to the scene to remove the truck from the road.(iwa)
