akarta Governor Anies Baswedan has dismissed Jakarta Manpower Agency head Priyono from his position in the latest leadership reshuffle of Jakarta’s agencies.

Pak Priyono has become a major expert,” Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno said on Saturday as reported by kompas.com, referring to Priyono’s latest position, although Sandiga did not explain the details of Priyono’s new position.

Sandiaga said the Manpower Agency was currently being led by an acting head, but he refused to reveal the name of the temporary leader.

“We have appointed the acting head. We will announce [who it is in due course].” Sandiaga said.

Earlier this June, Anies dismissed three agency heads amid problems surrounding his flagship programs, namely the zero down-payment housing program and the Jakarta Smart Card Plus program.

The sacked officials were the Public Housing and Settlement Agency head Agustino Darmawan, Education Agency head Sopan Andrianto and Goods and Services Procurement Agency (BPPBJ) head Indrastuty Rosari Okita.

The head of development at the Public Housing and Public Buildings Agency, Melly Budiastuti, and the deputy head of the Education Agency, Bowo Irianto, were reportedly named the acting heads of their respective agencies.

The BPPBJ deputy assistant for the environmental division, Blessmiyanda, was appointed as the acting BPPBJ chief. (ami)
