inger Yura Yunita’s latest album Merakit (Assembling) features a special song of the same title that was inspired by her own experiences.

“The song tells of my journey until this point. It feels like I’m stuck but that feeling can’t stop my soul from creating art,” Yura said as quoted by kompas.com.

A visit to an orphanage for disabled children also gave Yura more inspiration in creating the song. Her meeting with the orphans drove Yura to finish her work.

“I was surprised by the children’s spirit to build their dreams,” she said.

“I met an orphan that can sing very nicely. She said that she wanted to be like me to make people happy,” said by Yura in admiration.
