“I support Tities Sapoetra as a friend and as an up-and-coming designer. I know how he built his career as a designer from the very start, how he puts his creative ideas and philosophy into each pattern,” Paula said in a statement.
Paula, who was the only Indonesian model in the show, held on Sept. 28, was personally handpicked by Tities as his muse for the collection.
“I believe Tities has the potential to showcase his creations, not only on a national scale, but also on an international level,” she says.
During the 16-look presentation, Paula wore a full-length dress in black and gold floral print, embellished with 3D floral applique running along the hipline.
Tities’ presentation in Paris closed the Fashion Division Paris show, which also showcased the works of five young Indonesian designers.
More than 400 guests attended the show, with representatives from fashion labels, department stores, and media in attendance.
