he Belgian Embassy in Jakarta held a bazaar on Saturday presenting various Belgium products, with the proceeds going to Acid Survivors Trust International.
The event was held at the Belgian Residence, the official residence of the Belgian ambassador, with a focus on the Belcolade chocolate that was imported from Belgium.
Chef Adang held a demonstration for visitors, in which he used the Belcolade chocolate as the topping for fruit chocolate cupcakes.
Also on sale were other Belgian products ranging from various other types of chocolate, beers, biscuits, waffles to furniture.
One of the visitors, Gema, said the annual bazaar reminded him of the time when he visited Brussels for vacation.
“I hope at the next bazaar there will be more Belgian products that cannot be found in Indonesia that will bring more of the Belgian experience that we can’t get here.”
