Indonesia's foreign minister offers condolences following Bush senior's death

oreign Minister Retno Marsudi has offered her condolences following the death of former United States president George HW Bush, who passed away on Friday at the age of 94.
My deep condolences on the passing of George Herbert Walker Bush, the 41st President of the United States of America (1989-1993) on December 1, 2018.
My prayers go out to the family and friends and may they be given strength and courage during this time of sorrow.

The White House said a state funeral would be held on Wednesday at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. US President Donald Trump, who plans to attend the funeral with first lady Melania Trump, also designated Wednesday as a national day of mourning, and ordered the lowering of the American flag for 30 days, Reutersreported.
Bush will be laid to rest on Dec. 6 on the grounds of the George HW Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A&M University. He will be buried in his family plot, located behind the Bush Library, alongside his wife, Barbara, who died seven months ago, and daughter, Robin, who passed away in 1953 at the age of three, according to Associate Press.
Bush senior is the father of George W. Bush, the 43rd president of the US.
Having been in office between 1989 and 1993, the 41st president of the US is honored for his role in helping to end the Cold War and reduce the threat of nuclear annihilation.
