Kutai legislature terrorized

BALIKPAPAN: An unidentified person threatened to bomb the Kutai Kartanegara legislature building Tuesday.
The threat came through sms. However, after intensive examination by a anti-terror squad, the bomb threat was found to be a hoax.
Deputy chief of police in Tenggarong Comr. I Gede Yusa confirmed the threat, which stated the legislature building would explode at 11:OO a.m. Central Indonesian Time.
During the examination, all legislators and administrative staff were asked to leave the building. They resumed work once the building was found free of explosives.
Gede Yusa declined to speculate on who the person behind the bomb hoax might be.
The police are still tracing the person who initiated the threat through sms. -- JP
