While"strengthening social bonds" urges you to think harder about limited resources, using a public cemeterya common place in which people can gather easily - can be seen as a brilliant idea.

A graveyard is supposed to be an eternal resting place and not a sports cafe. Not only has respect for the living been waning in Indonesia, but also the dead are being treated without respect.

The reason Australia wants a forum with China on security is that they are now a major buyer of our exports, mainly in the bullion market.

China has just signed a 15-year deal with BHP for steel. So it is in Australia's interest to want to be good friends with China.

Security arrangements in the Asian region will always include China, they have the biggest army, navy and airforce in the region.

Why would Australia, with our population of 20 million, want to have them as a security partner? Because it makes good sense and good business to do so.

Hard to say whether REDD will give any contribution. The emission from deforestation and degradation accounts for a small fraction of the whole human-induced emissions.

If the current patterns of the uses of fossil fuel do not change, this even jeopardizes the forest ability to sequester carbon from the atmosphere. this means the roles of forests become even more limited. BAMBANG
