SAMARINDA, East Kalimantan: Samarinda's Mulawarman University announced Thursday it would study several wires supposedly growing out of the body of Noersyaidah, a resident of Sengata in East Kutai regency.

Noersyaidah claimed to suffer from the condition for several years, and says she has 39 wires growing out of her abdomen and chest.

"We need samples of the wires so we can start our research soon," said Sudradjat, dean of the university's School of Math and Natural Sciences.

He added the study could take up to seven days to diagnose her "ailments". --JP
