atch 18 of the Foreign Ministry's Senior Diplomatic School (Sesparlu) conducted an official visit to Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on April 16-22.
The group consisting of Indonesian diplomats as well as foreign diplomats from Australia, China, Myanmar, Fiji, Laos, Cambodia and Papua New Guinea arrived on April 16 and visited Padar Island, Komodo Island and Mawan Island the next day. During their time in Labuan Bajo, they had the opportunity to meet with West Manggarai Regent Agustinus CH Dula and deputy regent Maria Geong.

In addition to visiting tourist attractions, the group also donated books to the Taman Bacaan Pelangi library at state elementary school SDN Lancang, celebrated Kartini Day on Friday and took part in a weekly clean-up event in Labuan Bajo.
The diplomats were also asked to upload their journey on social media using the hashtags #sesparlugoestobajo, #wonderfulindonesia and #pesonaindonesia to promote Labuan Bajo. (asw)
