Three-month event held around Indonesian islands

T
he Tourism Ministry is set to hold the third Multihull Solutions – Wonderful Sail 2 Indonesia event in collaboration with Asia Pacific catamaran and trimaran specialist Multihull Solutions.
The event will start in Opua, New Zealand, on July 23 and sail around Indonesian islands until Oct. 20.
“For three months, participants will sail through exotic locations from the eastern part to the western part of Indonesia, including southeast Maluku, Banda Neira, Namroli and Wanci in Wakatobi,” said event organizer Raymond Lesmana.

International yachters will reportedly be issued social cultural visas that allow a 60-day stay that can be extended every month for a total of six months.
