Themed “Beat the Tradition,” the Matasora World Music Festival will feature music concerts, music and dance workshops, movie screenings, a food bazaar and discussions.

The event aims to improve multicultural dialogue and discussion about rural and urban issues, as well as promote tourism and sustainable eco-friendly lifestyles.
Up to 14 international and 20 local acts are scheduled to perform at the two-day festival. Among the foreign performers include those hailing from United Kingdom, Australia, Taiwan and Thailand. (kes)
