new tourist attraction called Pandang Hill is being developed by Pati regency in Central Java. Located in Durensawit village, Kayen district, this tourist attraction has been welcoming thousands of tourists since it was officially opened for public six months ago.
During national holidays or weekends, Padang Hill is able to accommodate around two thousand visitors per day, including locals and visitors from different cities.
“There are visitors who make a stop on their mudik (homebound exodus) trip or those who are just visiting Pati,” says Pandang Hill organizer, Krisno.

Krisno adds that the two most photogenic spots at Pandang Hill are the “I Love You” site and the one that overlooks the hill.
One visitor named Heri, who comes with his friends, says that he has been to this place several times, “The development here is very fast. Back in the days, there were not too many photo spots. But now there are plenty of interesting photo spots and people are lining up to take photos,” says Heri. (asw)
