he NHI Bandung Institute of Tourism (STP NHI Bandung) recently took home the award for the best video at the Tourism Video Promotion Contest.
“The [contest] is a part of the Indonesian Tourism Students Scientific Week (PILMAPI) held at Banyuwangi State Polytechnic, East Java on Nov. 10 -15. Alhamdullilah (Thank God) the students took home the first prize in the Tourism Video Promotion Contest,” said the head of STP NHI Bandung, Anang Sutono.
The video titled 'My Little Hidden Treasure – Wonderful Bandung' also took home the title of the most-favorite at the award. The three-minute- 25-seconds-video was made by students Daniel Tandijo, Muhammad Anas and Yoga Permana with mentoring from R. Fajar Widiarrachman, an IT lecturer at STP NHI Bandung.

Data from Central Statistics Agency in Bandung shows that in 2016, Bandung welcomed 5,000,625 tourists, 4,827,589 of them were local tourists and the rest 173,036 were international tourists. This year, Bandung is targeting to welcome seven million tourists. (asw)
