fter winning the first lap of Tour de Singkarak (TdS) 2017, German cyclist Robert Muller once again took the first position for the third lap of the event.

The third lap was the longest route with the total distance of 161.3 kilometers and Muller managed to clock the finish time at 04:03:59. The finish line was located at Gelanggang Olahraga, Dharmasraya, West Sumatra.

“This is my second win at Tour de Singkarang, I would never have thought that I would achieve these results especially with the hot weather during the race,” told Muller.

Meanwhile, the second lap was won by British Daniel Whitehouse of CCN Cycling Team and then followed by Tabriz’s Khalil Khorshid.

Up until the third lap, the general classification (yellow jersey) was dominated by Iranian Ghader Mizbani of Tabriz Shahrdary Team with 10:41:56 whilst Muller was given the green jersey (fastest sprinter) with 47 points.

Dharmasraya Regency is known for its Nagari Sijunjung traditional village that is listed as a national heritage.

The village consists of one main tribe and nine smaller tribes. All of them still adopt the matrilineal system, a system that rules the life and order of a society that is united through the maternal family line. (asw)
