"We are offering this free service on national holidays and weekends during the Asian Games due to the limitation of personal vehicles through the extension of the odd-even policy as well as the lack of parking spaces available in the areas," said Transjakarta president director Budi Kaliwono as quoted by kompas.com.
"This free service serves as an effective solution to decrease congestion, as well as increase the number of Transjakarta passengers. During the Asian Games, we will provide 1,750 buses for regular service and special-route service to the game venues, such as Palmerah Station-Gelora Bung Karno [GBK]," added Budi. (kes)
