The Great British Circus is currently in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, with shows scheduled to run until Sept. 23.
The Great British Circus is currently in town, at the parking area of La Piazza, Summarecon Mal Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.
Held from Aug. 24 to Sept. 23, the circus presents 19 performers who put on a 90-minute show that includes trapeze and acrobatics.
Kompas.com compiled a list of tips and information for those who are interested to see the circus:
1. Tickets
Tickets can be purchased at booths available at the venue. Prices are from Rp 100,000 ($6.80) for First Class, Rp 200,000 for Primary and Rp 300,000 for VIP.
Tickets are also available online on GO-TIX or Fave Indonesia. Shows are available from Tuesday to Friday at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., and on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
2. Candy King preshow
Before entering the main venue, spectators will be entertained by Candy King performing Michael Jackson’s trademark dance moves while handing out free cotton candy to children.

3. Snacks and drinks
Before the show starts and during breaks, refreshments are available to purchase from official sellers going around the venue. Snacks and drinks include steamed peanuts, donuts, sausages and shaved ice. Food counters are also available at the venue, with an eating area in front of the counters.
4. Toys
Don’t forget to bring cash if you want to buy glow sticks or toys shaped as swans and fish. You can buy them from official sellers marked by their white shirts, bow ties and circus hats.
5. Keep cautious
As excitement may mount during the show, always be aware of your belongings as lights will go off for the duration.
6. Enjoy the show
Sit back and enjoy the exciting and breathtaking acts from world-class performers. Wheel of Stunt offers stunt riders who ride high-speed motorcycles inside two mesh sphere balls, Hair Aerial shows acrobatic and dance acts suspended by hair, while Rollabolla is a show of balance done by standing on top of a board on rolling pipes.
