In a bid to introduce Macau's unique local culinary heritage, the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) is set to bring its Food Truck roadshow to 10 spots around Jakarta.
"This year, Macau has a campaign series titled '2018, Macau Year of Gastronomy' in order to introduce Macau's unique local culinary heritage," MGTO head of Indonesia representative Devi Sari said during the launch of the food truck tour, which began at the Bentara Budaya Jakarta in Central Jakarta on Sept. 7, as quoted by kompas.com.
Macau, a Chinese special administrative area, was included in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of Gastronomy in November last year.
"This makes Macau officially the third creative city in gastronomy in China, after Chengdu and Shunde," Devi said.
