Citilink was among 10 low-cost carriers in the world that received the four-star rating based on passenger experience.
aruda Indonesia's low-cost subsidiary, Citilink, was named Four-Star Low-Cost Carrier at the recently held APEX Award Ceremony Expo 2018 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
APEX is a New York-based nonprofit association that released the awards based on more than 500,000 flights that were rated by passengers from around the world between July 1, 2017 and June 30.
According to kompas.com, Citilink was among 10 low-cost carriers in the world that received the four-star rating based on passenger experience toward five subcategories, namely seat coziness, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment and Wi-Fi connection.

"This four-star rating received by Citilink Indonesia is the result of our commitment and hard work to give the best service for all passengers," said Citilink Indonesia corporate secretary and CSR vice president Ranty Astari Rachman in a statement.
Previously in February Citilink also received a Four-Star Low-Cost Carrier title from British-based global airline consultancy Skytrax, as well as Best Low-Cost Carrier in Asia by TripAdvisor in July. (kes)
