new job has opened up that will pay an avid skier US$10,000 to ski some of the world’s most prestigious slopes this winter and capture it all on video.
Ski.com has launched an open call for what they’re calling an Epic Dream Job that will send the winning candidate to more than a dozen world-class ski resorts in seven countries. This includes Whistler Blackcomb and Fernie in Canada, Park City and Breckenridge in the United States, Verbier in Switzerland and Hakuba Valley in Japan.
For two months, the successful applicant will carve powder in brand name ski gear like Helly Hansen, Rossignol and Oakley, while capturing video content from a GoPro.

From the sounds of the job description, the ideal candidate is an outgoing, sociable, globetrotting millennial influencer who can hold their own when it comes to snow sports: “… must be able to ski and/or snowboard and must love apres, mingling with locals and documenting new experiences.”
To apply, job seekers have until Oct 15, 2018 to submit a video application explaining in 60 seconds or under why they should be chosen. The job posting is to promote the Epic Pass, an international pass that is valid at 65 ski resorts around the world.
