Ten high schools in Bogor, West Java, participated on June 6 in the final stages of a business simulation organized by the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development for Youth (CENTURY) at the Bogor Institute of Agriculture in cooperation with Prestasi Junior Indonesia, Bank Mayapada and Caterpillar Indonesia.

The participating students were from SMK Muhammadiyah Cileungsi, SMA Muhammadiyah Cileungsi, SMAN 1 Ciampea, SMA Widia Kusuma Cileungsi, SMKN 1 Cibinong, SMKN 1 Ciomas, SMAN 1 Dramaga, SMK Pelita Ciampea, SMAN 1 Ciampea and SMK Adi Sanggoro.

The simulation itself aimed at giving high school students direct economic and business experience so they could apply basic economic theories in an interactive business simulation.

Before the final round, participants attended several other programs, including training at schools and technical meetings.

SMAN 1 Dramaga won first place and brought home a cash prize of Rp 2 million, SMAN 1 Cileungsi won second place, followed by SMKN 1 Cibinong who picked up third.
