Dear youthspeak,

Thank you for the inspiring Gold and Platinum in Music Industry in the April edition. Those singers are the most adorable singers since the 1960s until today.

As English teachers, we are very enthusiastic about these informative articles. We tried to fit them into English lessons for the seventh grade as their knowledge of music is limited to knowing about recent bands and singers. One student had never heard of Julio Iglesias, but she had heard of his son, Enrique Iglesias. That was why we set up a listening practice using one of Julio Iglesias’ songs.

Although some took to the exercise as easily as they do simple math, others found it difficult. But we’ll try hard to fix that.
