Terms and regulations

News reading ( Registration Closed )

  • The competition is open for Indonesian citizens who attend senior high school.
  • All participants from the same school will be accompanied by at least one teacher or a liaison officer appointed by the event organizers.
  • All news material and props will be prepared by the event organizers.

Photography competition ( Extended to Nov. 19 )

  • The competition is open for junior or senior high school students.
  • The participants from the same school will be accompanied by at least one teacher or a liaison officer appointed by the event organizers.
  • The participants must bring their own camera and be ready to take pictures inside the venue.

Spelling bee ( Registration Closed )

  • The beeis open for Indonesian citizens who attend junior or senior high school.
  • Only the first 30 eligible students who register can participate.
  • The participants from the same school will be accompanied by at least one teacher or a liaison officer appointed by the event organizers.

Song lyrics and music contest ( Extended to Nov. 19 )

  • The competition is open for Indonesian citizen who attend senior high school.
  • Groups of three or more musicians are encouraged to participate.
  • A group may consist of students from the same school or from different schools.
  • Each band must perform two cover songs and one original song in 20 minutes.
  • Register your band online by writing to youthspeakcontest@gmail.com.  Send your original song as an attachment, including the lyrics. Or you can send your music on CD to youthspeak Fun Day (song lyrics) at Jl. Palmerah Barat 142-143 Jakarta 10270. The registration deadline is November 14 at 11.59 p.m.
  • The demo tape should be in MP3 format (128 kbps) and recorded in home recording system.
  • Only a selection of participants will perform on stage.
  • Participants are allowed to bring their own instruments.
  • All other instruments and props will be provided by the event organizers.
  • The CD and MP3 recordings received will belong to the event organizers and will not be sold, duplicated or distributed without the consent of the owners.
