Accor says it’s time to visit Bali

I

t’s time to feel the sand under your feet, it’s time to relax to the sound of the waves, it’s time to look out over the gorgeous island from the majestic mountain peaks, #ItstimeforBali. Accor is inviting everyone to travel to the Island of the Gods at 20 percent off to show its support for the It’s Time for Bali program launched by the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry at the end of 2021.

Accor Live Limitless (ALL) can enjoy an extra 800 reward points when staying a minimum of two nights and by registering to the Unwrap Your Rewards offer prior to booking. Meanwhile, Accor Plus members can get 30 percent off their stay and other guests can get 20 percent off, with free cancellation, three days prior to arrival.

Hotels participating include the Kuta Beach Heritage Hotel Bali, Pullman Bali Legian Beach, Mercure Resort Sanur, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort and Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali. The offer is only valid for bookings made from now through Saturday to stay from Jan. 17 to March 31.

The Kuta Beach Heritage Hotel Bali is the first stop on the island. Managed by Accor, the hotel is located on the famous Kuta Beach strip area. It is steps away from well-known tourist attractions, including Beachwalk mall, Kuta Square, Kuta art market and Jl. Legian.

However, Kuta’s lively scene is not for everyone. The Legian area offers a smaller crowd and lower tides to relax. Set between the famous Kuta and Legian beaches is Pullman Bali Legian Beach. The hotel is right on the beach yet still a close proximity to shops, restaurants, bars and other tourist attractions, such as water parks, art markets and malls.

Sanur is an area famous for its spectacular sunrise and lovely white sand. The calm and shallow waters give an atmosphere perfect for family vacations, with activities such as kite-flying and swimming along Sanur Beach. Steps away from the sea is Mercure Resort Sanur, another Accor hotel ready to welcome families with open arms.

Moving to the southern part of the island, guests will find Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. The coastline of Nusa Dua is filled with luxury resorts, pristine beaches and the tranquility of the island. The hotel is located near Bali Nusa Dua Theater, the Bali National Golf Club and the Bali Collection shopping, dining and entertainment center. It is a 10-minute drive from the airport, and a short drive north will take you to the watersport coastal area of Tanjung Benoa.

For foodies craving seafood, Jimbaran is the place to be. In addition to fresh seafood, Jimbaran offers limestone cliffs, lush forests and ancient sea temples. Accor members can opt to stay at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali while in the area. The hotel is only a five-minute walk from Jimbaran Beach and champions Balinese wellness — which is hard to say no to.

All hotels under Accor have been certified by the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry’s Indonesia CARE audit for cleanliness, health, safety and the environment, as well as by Accor's ALLSAFE protocols and standards. ALLSAFE standards have been developed with and vetted by Bureau Veritas, a world leader in hygiene testing, inspections and certification.
